Yarra Glen Bowls Club

Dear Members;

An important Notice due to the new Government rules for Licensed clubs regarding the spread of the Coronavirus. The Yarra Glen Bowls Club has closed its doors as of Monday 23rd March. This means we will not be open and all club matches have been suspended.

The Bar and Catering facilities will be closed to all. Heavy  financial penalties and cancellation of our Liquor Licence would be imposed if we do not comply.

The Presentation Night and A.G.M night will be postponed till a later date.

The Club will appoint a maintenance crew to keep our facilities in good order until we can recommence normal activities.

We have a meeting with Yarra Ranges Council this Friday re Club redevelopment and to discuss our kitchen renovation which is going ahead.

Members can still use the Greens for individual practice. Bowls Victoria states roll-ups (individual practice ) is permitted, provided strict hygiene is adhered to along with the government’s social distancing requirements.

We will reopen as soon as the government will allow, and we will keep all members up to date of proceedings through our website www.yarraglenbowls.com and email.
