Club News Update 04 April 2023

Dear Club Members,

As the season closes, some information for club members from the Secretary:

Annual General Meeting /Presentation Night.

This will be held on Saturday 13th May 6pm at the Clubrooms. The Agenda is AGM first followed by Spit Roast dinner and then the Presentation of Awards for season 2022/23. Cost for the 2 course meal is $30 per head.

Geoff Senior has asked if we could all start getting our Raffle tickets and money into the Club during the next few weeks. The best opportunity to return tickets is Thursday nights 5pm onwards — hand in at the Bar.

Annual General Meeting

At this years AGM we have 4 positions up for election:

Vice Chairman, Secretary and 2 Board Members. The positions are for 2 years. I will endeavour to get the nomination forms to the Club in the coming week.

New Toilet Project

The project is scheduled for start on Monday 17th April and due for completion end of September/early October. Portable toilets will be established during this time-frame. Bowlers who house their bowls at the Clubrooms should be aware  their bags will have to be shifted before demolition commences. Two freezers also need to be moved from that area. Bowls Bags could possibly be stored near the eastern entrances of the Clubrooms.

Club Games

We still have  a few Championships to complete before presentation night – (Mixed Pairs ,Triples , Mens and Ladies Pairs), so see if you can get these organised in the coming weeks.
