Member Survey – Club Communications

Yarra Glen Bowls Club is undertaking a member survey to better understand how we can communicate information to all members. The survey aims to understand:

• what information members would like to see from the club;
• in what format would you like to receive information;
• how often we should communicate information.

Currently the club uses 4 main forms of communication:

1. Information posted at the clubroom on noticeboards;
2. Website news items;
3. Facebook posts;
4. Emails to members.

The types of information currently sent out include:

• Notice of AGM and Presentation Night (yearly);
• Team announcements for pennant (weekly during pennant season);
• Club Championship information for entries and draws (Yearly and as events progress);
• Board decisions and external events impacting the club such as Yarra Ranges Council, Eastern Ranges, Bowls Victoria etc. (Monthly or as items arise);
• Notification of social activities and bowls (As events are announced).

The board would appreciate if members could complete this short survey as we head into the new year to help us to keep members up to date with timely information of interest to everyone over the next year and beyond.
